Internal Peace Finding Peace Of Mind

What does inner peace mean to you?

Does it mean a holy place where you can come home from a stressful situation and find that safe place away from the 'care of the world'? Does that mean you can live without a mask?

The vast majority of us have a quiet mentality with regards to drawing pictures of ourselves. Or is this place (mostly our home) another place we need to protect ourselves from the constant onslaught of anger, animosity and power games in our standard of living in the twenty-first century?

The dictionary defines internally: located along or inside the body; Of, relating to, or present in the mind. Peace is defined as: peace and tranquility; freedom from annoying thoughts; and an agreement to end hostilities.

For the purpose of this article, I will combine these two concepts and define inner peace: the amalgamation of our thoughts and feelings that results in a state of peace and harmony. The most important key to this peace and harmony, or 'peace of mind' as it is often called, is to respect our emotional nature and find ways to express our feelings that allow us to let go.

Practical steps to release emotions

1. Learn to listen to yourself.

What bothers most of us for a long time is that we become so disconnected from our emotions. A situation will arise and you will 'pass out' and it will feel unbelievable that you have lost control. It actually creates feelings that we are not aware of.

2. Accept responsibility for your feelings.

no one cares about you; Instead, choose how you feel and feel based on how you interpret the situation. Blaming others wastes your energy and you react with anger and rage when you feel 'victimised'.

3. Talk to a trusted friend or mentor.

Finding a 'safe space' where you can express feelings without judging someone gives you the opportunity to let go of repressed feelings.

4. Accept yourself.

You are not considered perfect and learning to accept you with all your strengths and weaknesses creates a sense of peace in you.

5. Don't judge yourself.

Self-determination means that you have to be perfect and not feel good enough. When you feel incompetent, you push yourself hard and what you do will never be 'good enough'.

6. Forget the past.

The past is gone and you did what you knew was best. If the past brings back memories of traumatic experiences for you, let go of the memories and apologize to yourself and/or others. This does not mean that you have condoned this behavior. It means letting go of memories and feelings to find your inner healing and peace.

7. Learn to relax.

There are numerous ways of accomplishing equilibrium and amicability. Practicing meditation as a daily routine, reading, exercising, walking or creating a sanctuary where you can spend time rejuvenated and refreshed, all help you avoid the 'big mistake'. 'Take control of life.'

8. Practice gratitude.

What you focus on grows as you strengthen your thinking. Thoughts of peace, love and fulfillment enhance inner healing and peace and lead to a more balanced and harmonious life.

9. Keep a Journal.

People have used journalism for many years to express their feelings and understand what is happening. This journal or notebook is for your eyes only and allows you to say something without looking at anyone other than yourself.

Once manifested, the emotions disappear and you will see that they are released through this research. If this procedure does not completely relieve them at first, repeat the exercise.

10. Spend time in nature.

We are a part of nature and when we reconnect with the natural world we touch our inner self/spiritual connection more. It is something else that we have to do with cosmic power, we call it God, Goddess,

Almighty or Higher Power. Whatever we call it, when we feel associated with the 'entire', we perceive our spot on the planet and feel a feeling of harmony and amicability, and 'everything is great in our reality.'
