What Does It Mean To Self Improve

But what is "self-improvement"? When we improve ourselves, what are we really improving? And what "self" are we improving?

We each have two "selves" - our wounded self and our real self. Our true self is our true self, our natural soul-self - our essence. Your passion, your happiness, your gifts and talents, your ability to love, your creativity is your main self. We come into this life as our true selves, and when we feel loved and valued by our parents, we naturally develop God's gifts and talents and our existence. We keep on evolving and showing its fullness. It tries to improve oneself by learning the skills needed to express oneself fully.

But when this soul is not seen and valued according to our needs, we create an alternative spirit, a spirit that we hope will be in control of receiving love. It will keep the things you need and avoid the pain you can't handle - a self that helps you feel secure. This is our false self, our wounded self, our ego. It's full of false beliefs that you acquired when you grew up - beliefs that limit your true, genuine soul. He doesn't need self-improvement - he needs healing.

The term "self-improvement" can sometimes be a little misleading because you don't want your wounds to heal. We don't want to lie, manipulate, and improve the way we try to find love and escape our pain. We do not want to correct many of our habits for substances and processes. We do not seek to correct our anger, our obedience, our withdrawal, and our opposition. We want to fix it.

Treatment and improvement are not the same things.

We can definitely improve ourselves when it comes to skills. We can work on sports, craftsmanship, music, composing, cooking.

We can improve our health and well-being by improving our diet and exercise programs. We can improve the knowledge we need to be more successful in terms of work and money. By learning new communication skills, we can improve our relationships. But what if gaining new knowledge and skills doesn't improve your health, or your ability to make money, or your relationships? And what if learning new skills brings you more joy and inner peace? It can mean that we need to heal internal fears and misconceptions that make us anxious, sad, stressed, innocent, ashamed, backward, angry, guilty, or sad.

Sometimes self-improvement is just a matter of practicing a skill, and sometimes it means you need to participate in the healing process as a whole. For instance, many individuals attempt to work on their well-being by shedding pounds and working out. But if their eating habits include incurable pain, they cannot change their diet. Eventually, they may need to be reopened for the healing process.

If you're really trying to better yourself, but you're stuck and can't progress or aren't happy or have inner peace, you may want to uncover this possibility. Those pains and beliefs are hindering your progress and causing your pain. , It's easy to fix yourself when there is no blockage. But if you have chronic misconceptions about your abilities and abilities, these beliefs can inhibit your ability to act lovingly on your behalf.

Not all of your self-improvement efforts will give you the satisfaction you're looking for if you have beliefs that limit you from fully expressing your true, genuine self-interest. If you're stuck, you need a healing process, such as the inner bonding process we teach, that lifts you out of the fears and beliefs that limit you. Letting go of this fear and limiting your faith will open the door to improving your life in every way!
